Kawasaki Unveils its 2027 Mule UTV Lineup and Pricing

Kawasaki has unveiled its single-row and two-row Mule SX and Mule Pro Series UTVs for 2027, offering work-ready features in a compact package.

The lineup includes gas and diesel models, configurable cargo space and strong towing. The new models are as follows:

Mule Pro SxKawasaki

Mule SX

The two-passenger Mule SX takes design cues from Kawasaki’s large Mule Pro line, while compact enough to fit in the bed of a full-size pickup truck.

It’s powered by a single-cylinder, 401cc 4-stroke engine and touts a 1,100-pound towing capacity. The steel cargo bed has a textured floor for durability and grip when hauling materials.

The Mule SX line is available in four configurations this summer. Select four-wheel drive models are available with digital fuel injection. The Mule SX 4x4 ST includes the same capabilities as the rest of the SX lineup, but is powered by a 401cc 4-stroke carbureted engine.

Mule Pro Fxt 1000 Platinum RanchKawasakiMule Pro-FXT 1000 Platinum Ranch Edition

Kawasaki’s Mule Pro-FXT 1000 Platinum Ranch Edition UTV comes decked out with a Metallic Deep Red paint scheme and grille cover, standard LED outer headlines and rugged brush and headlight guards.

Inside, the UTV features upgraded soft leatherette seats with embroidered logos, front and rear shoulder guards, a rear grab bar and a premium rearview mirror. Three-dimensional Platinum Ranch Edition emblems on the front fenders and cast aluminum wheels with a machined finish complete the enhanced styling.

Additional features include Kawasaki’s self-leveling rear suspension, a rear bumper and a 4,500-pound-capacity Kawasaki synthetic rope winch. The Trans Cab system on the UTV allows the rear seat and cargo bed to be quickly reconfigured for additional seating or more bed capacity.

The Mule Pro-FXT 1000 Platinum Ranch Edition is available now, starting at $22,499.

The full-sized Mule Pro-FXT 1000 LE offers heavy-duty capability and flexibility with its three- to six-passenger Trans Cab system. In its three-passenger mode, the cargo bed measures 42.7 x 53.6 x 10.9 inches and supports up to 1,000 pounds. In six-passenger mode, the bed measures 22.0 x 53.6 x 10.9 inches with a capacity of 350 pounds.

Black cast aluminum wheels add an element of style. Available now, the Mule Pro-FXT 1000 LE Camo variant includes all the features of the standard model plus TrueTimber Strata color scheme.

The Mule Pro-FX 1000 HD Edition features three seats and a long hydraulic tilt cargo bed. The bed measures 54.1 x 53.3 x 11 inches and can haul up to 1,000 pounds.

It also comes equipped with a rear bumper and Kawasaki’s self-leveling suspension system.

Available now in Vibrant Blue, the Mule Pro-FX 1000 HD Edition starts at $17,699.

Ready to hit the jobsite or trail, the three-passenger Mule Pro-FXR 1000 features a compact design and a 999cc engine.

Its cargo bed, measuring 37.5 x 53.3 x 11 inches, has a 1,000-pound capacity.

In addition to all of the Mule Pro-FXR 1000 features, the Mule Pro-FXR 1000 LE comes with a painted grille cover that matches the bodywork and black cast aluminum wheels.

The diesel-powered Mule Pro-DXT EPS is designed for jobsite performance and versatility, touting a 993cc diesel engine, 1-ton towing capacity and the largest cargo bed in its class, according to Kawasaki.

It features the three- to six-passenger Trans Cab system, quickly able to convert between single-row and double-row seating.

Kawasaki also equipped the model with electronic power steering for improved slow-speed maneuvering and a tough chassis with independent front and rear suspension for 8.7 inches of travel and high ground clearance.

The Mule Pro-MX lineup features four trims, all with electric power steering: the Mule Pro-MX EPS, Mule Pro-MX LE, Mule Pro-MX EPS Camo, and Mule Pro-MX SE.

The two-passenger Mule Pro-MX’s 695cc single-cylinder digital fuel injection engine generates 42.7 pound-feet of torque, while its Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) smoothly transfers power. The vehicle's electronically selectable 2WD/4WD system and dual-mode locking rear differential further enhance driver control across diverse terrain.

The Mule Pro-MX SE shares similar characteristics with the Mule Pro-MX LE edition, plus a painted hood, deluxe color scheme and graphics, electronic power steering, cast aluminum wheels, inner LED headlights and a sun top. The factory-installed 3,000-pound winch with remote control allows for operation from a distance.
