Loftness is expanding its line of Cool Flow Auxiliary Hydraulic Coolers with a model compatible with Kubota’s new SVL110-3 compact track loader.
The roof-mounted auxiliary hydraulic cooler simultaneously cools attachments and the loader at up to 150,000 BTUs per hour, helping to keep hydraulic temperatures under control when running high-flow attachments.
“[The Cool Flow] fits the power unit well, and our testing has shown excellent results,” said Shannon McComas, COO of Loftness. “It’s a great way to protect your compact track loader from costly heat-related damage, especially when running high-performance vegetation management attachments.”
The Cool Flow for the SVL110-3 includes a model-specific mounting kit and hydraulic hose kit. Mounting feet permanently attach the unit to the machine to reduce contamination, vibrations and the likelihood of damage from an impact.

The supplementary attachment engineered to allow full hydraulic flow to the working attachment from either direction with no risk of damage, making it useful for attachment styles. The design also protects the cooler if an operator accidentally reverses hoses, or if a coupler becomes detached, Loftness says.

An aluminum brazed core includes two 14-inch fans that cycle on and off automatically via an onboard thermostat. A cold weather bypass feature allows for easy start-ups and full hydraulic flow to the attachment from either direction.
It is constructed with a heavy-duty steel frame for durability in demanding conditions. The bottom screen slides out, and the heavy-duty top protective screen can be easily removed for simplified maintenance and debris cleanout.
Two Cool Flow models are available for power units of all sizes. The compact single-fan model is ideal for mid-frame skid steers and offers up to 95,000 BTUs per hour of cooling capacity, while the larger, twin-fan model offers 150,000 BTUs per hour. Models have a 10-60 gpm flow capacity. The Cool Flow is also compatible with Kubota’s SVL97-3 compact track loader.
