The Brokk 70 remote-controlled demolition machine, the smallest in the company’s line up, will be highlighted at Brokk’s ConExpo 2020 booth at the Festival Grounds (F101901).

It offers the power of 3-ton machine into a 2-ton package, according to the company. Compared with the Brokk 60II, the 70 delivers 100 percent more power than its predecessor and yet retains the same compact dimensions with only a 133-pound weight increase. The 9.8-kilowatt 70 has a hydraulic output of 5.5-kilowatts and is paired with the BHB 105 hydraulic breaker with 159 joules of hitting power. At 35 inches tall and 23.5 inches wide, it easily maneuvers tight areas and can be transported on a standard passenger elevator.

Equipped with the company’s SmartConcept technology, the 27.5-kilowatt Brokk 200 will also be on display at the booth. The 200 operates tools with requirements typical of one weight class above. Pair it with a Brokk BHB 305 breaker, says Brokk, and the machine delivers 450 foot-pounds with each blow of the 650-pound hydraulic hammer. In addition, compared to the Brokk 170, the 200 has 15 percent longer vertical and horizontal reach.

Both machines are armed with Smart Power, which senses when the power supply is poor or faulty and compensates before component damage occurs. This allows contractors to use the machine with generators or unreliable power sources.

Sister company Aquajet will also be featured at the booth. Products showcased will include the Aqua Cutter 710V hydrodemolition robot and Ergo System for work on floors, walls and ceilings.
