RS5-19 Gen:3Aimed at contractors, builders and rental houses, Manitou has expanded its RS lineup of Gehl telehandlers with two new models.
The new RS5-19 Gen:3 and RS9-50 Gen:2 telehandlers are powered by Tier 4 engines and feature standard self-leveling forks, four-plate box section booms, rear axle stabilization and high visibility from inside the cab thanks to a large, open concept frame with a high-mounted boom.
The RS5-19 Gen:3 is Gehl’s smallest RS telehandler with 5,500 pounds of rated lift capacity and 3,000 pounds of capacity at full lift height. Max lift height is 19 feet, 1 inch.
The RS5-19 is powered by a 69-horsepower Yanmar engine and features two-speed forward/reverse hydrostatic drive along with four-wheel drive/four-wheel steer.
New to the RS5-19 is a single joystick control with F-N-R, boom functions, fork tilt and auxiliary line control. Other features include a power port in the cab, single key start and a lockable storage area in the cab.
The RS9-50 Gen:2 is Gehl’s 9,000-pound lift capacity RS telehandler. This machine features a 50-foot, 1-inch max lift height with 5,000 pounds of capacity at 50 feet.
The RS9-50 is powered by a 120-horsepower Cummins diesel and features four-speed powershift, three steering modes, quick attachment system, frame leveling, full-time four-wheel drive, 12-volt electrical system and standard aux hydraulic line.
