The Cat TH514D Telehandler comes with updated hydraulics to handle a variety of work tools.
Attachments include forks and a choice of carriages, buckets, truss booms, winches, pipe grapple, sweeper, material-handling arm, concrete bucket and fork-mounted platform. A manual attachment coupler is standard and a hydraulic coupler is available.
The telehandler is powered by a 100-horsepower, Tier 4 Final Cat C3.4B engine. The machine has a rated load capacity of 11,021 pounds and a maximum lift height of 45.5 feet.
A power-shift transmission comes with four forward and three reverse gears. The four-wheel drive system has heavy-duty axles with planetary-reduction hubs, front limited-slip differential and dual-axle braking. Oil-immerse, multi-disc brakes are on both axles. Mitas 14.00-24 16PR pneumatic tires are standard. Goodyear pneumatic or foam-filled tires are available.
Other standard features include an open canopy operator station, a single multi-function joystick with integrated controls for auxiliary hydraulic functions and a mechanical suspension seat.
Buyers can choose among several options: an enclosed cab, heating and air conditioning, an air-suspension seat, an additional interactive large display screen with electronic load charts, rearview camera and reversing object sensor.
All service points on the TH514D are accessible at ground level. The machine also offers easy access to the engine, coolers and hydraulic components.
Cat’s Product Link telematics system allows contractors to access machine data such as location, hours, fuel consumption, idle time, events and diagnostic codes. The data can then be reported to the online VisionLink user interface for analysis.
