For the first time, Ford will offer its four-door SuperCrew on the STX trim in the 2014 F-150 STX SuperCrew.
The STX SuperCrew, aimed at first-time and value-conscious customers, gives a middle ground option to those who don’t necessarily need to move up to Ford’s XLT models, but want a little more than the entry-level XL model offers.
The Ford F-150 STX SuperCrew comes standard with a 3.7-liter V-6 engine pushing 302-horsepower and 278-lb.-ft.-of-torque. A 5.0-liter V-8 is available as well, pushing available power up to 360 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft. of torque. The boosted package enables towing up to 9,500 pounds when properly equipped.
Ford says the V-6 package gets about 17 miles per gallon in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The automaker says its natural gas prep package is available for this pickup as well.
The STX trim includes power doors, windows and mirrors; 17-inch aluminum wheels; cruise control, cloth seats; an audio input jack and an AM/FM/CD stereo. An upgrade to the STX Sport Package (pictured below) brings 20-inch painted aluminum wheels with P275/55R20 tires; a black billet grille; black tubular running boards; color coordinated carpet and unique box decals.
Pricing for STX SuperCrew starts at $33,145 for the 4×2, V-6 model and $37,570 for the 4×4 with 5.0-liter V-8.
