When is a job a myth?

The Boston Globe reports today that many of the jobs the government supposedly gained from stimulus funding were, well, exaggerated. At least that’s the case in Massachusetts where the paper conducted its own research into governmental job claims. The paper said, “The federal stimulus report for Massachusetts has so many errors, missing data, or estimates instead of actual job counts that it may be impossible to accurately tally how many people have been employed by the massive infusion of federal money.” (To see the full story, click here.)
