After several years of visiting with contractor focus groups to evaluate their business needs, Bid2Win Software has introduced Build2Win – a new field tracking software system for contractors who want to track production, labor hours, equipment use, subcontractor work, materials costs and quantities and other overheads.
Instead of the customary desktop installation, Build2Win uses a browser based user interface that allows construction company owners, project managers, foremen and field engineers to view and track real-time status information about their projects.
“The browser-based system allows people out in the field to connect back to the office server without having to synchronize everyone’s laptops or risk losing valuable information,” says Dave Todaro, vice president, Bid2Win Software.
The program includes a security system that can be controlled by the primary user, such as a company owner or project manager, so that each individual user’s experience coincides with their job and/or project specifics.
