Hoffman Equipment, Piscataway, New Jersey, has acquired Penn-Jersey Machinery’s assets, and will now offer Volvo Construction Equipment in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

In a deal completed Nov. 19th, Hoffman will take over Volvo territories previously covered by Penn-Jersey and Malvese Equipment. Hoffman is assuming Penn-Jersey’s three locations in Deptford and Middlesex, New Jersey and Lionville, Pennsylvania, adding to Hoffman’s existing locations in New Jersey and New York.

All Penn-Jersey staff will be offered employment within the new Hoffman locations.

Established in 1919, Hoffman serves the construction, transportation and equipment industries. “We’re proud to upgrade our product offering through the addition of Volvo CE’s premium construction equipment to our portfolio,” says Tim Watters, CEO of Hoffman.

Malvese Equipment, located in Hicksville, New York, currently offers New Holland construction and agricultural products, along with equipment from Vacall, Avant Tenco, Mahindra Tractors and Sakai and several other brands.
