Robert Garbini, P.E., president, NRMCA.National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) President Robert A. Garbini, P.E. has announced his plans to retire after the March 2019 Annual Convention.
In a press release, Garbini cited his 27 years with NRMCA, 44 years overall in the construction industry, and his lifetime commitment to the organization and the industry. He expressed complete confidence that NRMCA professionals and member leadership will continue to advance the concrete industry’s interests in the building sector, local paving market and advocacy arena, as well as continue to increase the professionalism of the workforce and the quality of product through research and education.
NRMCA Chairman Rodney Grogan thanked Garbini for his years of service and dedication, noting his faithful advocacy and leadership of the association and the ready mixed concrete industry, and wished him well in his future retirement.
The NRMCA Board announced that a search committee comprised of NRMCA past chairmen led by Bill Childs, Chaney Enterprises, will begin the task of identifying a candidate to replace Garbini.
