Missouri University of Science and Technology hosting Transportation Infrastructure Conference

Traffic in a work zoneThe Missouri University of Science and Technology is set to host its fourth annual Transportation Infrastructure Conference in December.

The university announced that the December 4 conference would focus on new advances in road construction materials, resilient structural materials, non-destructive testing and structural health monitoring of roads and bridges.

Some of the featured speakers at the all-day conference include Missouri Department of Transportation construction and materials engineer David Ahlvers, Illinois Department of Transportation safety engineer and Bureau of Safety Engineering chief Priscilla Tobias and Illinois Center for Transportation and Advanced Transportation Research and Engineering Laboratory director Dr. Imad Al-Qadi, among others.

The conference is open to the public and costs $70 for general admission. The full conference program and information on how to register can be found on the university’s webpage for the conference.
