Through updates from the Wisconsin State Patrol, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will be posting construction updates for Wisconsin 441 (WIS 441) and Interstate 41 on dedicated Twitter and Facebook sites.

The Twitter handle is @WIS441I41News and the Facebook user name is also WIS441I41News.

“The US 41 Project social media accounts have been a very popular way for motorists to get needed, daily updates on road closures and traffic impacts,” WisDOT NE Region Director Will Dorsey said in a statement. “With the Tri-County Project really ramping up construction, and the US 41 interstate conversions to I-41, we felt it was in the best interest to the public to combine the projects in one easy to follow Twitter and Facebook site.”

Projects covered include:

  • I-41 in Brown County
  • I-41 Tri-County Expansion in Outagamie and Winnebago Counties
  • US 10/WIS 441 system-to-system interchange in Winnebago County
  • Roland Kampo Bridge construction
  • WIS 441/US 10 expansion in Winnebago County
  • Interchange construction, ramp closures at Racine Street, Midway Drive, Appleton Road, Oneida Street in Winnebago County
  • Local road closures due to Tri-County Project and I-41 Project in Brown, Winnebago and Outagamie counties
