Genie is rolling out its highest-capacity telehandler in the 44-foot range with the all-new GTH-1544.
Touting a 15,000-pound capacity and 44-foot 7-inch lift height, the GTH-1544 is designed to efficiently shuttle materials from delivery zones to work areas on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
The GTH-1544 joins the 10,000-pound GTH-1044 and 12,000-pound GTH-1244 in Genie's pick-and-carry lineup. The models were designed to complement the companies existing GTH-1056 and GTH-1256 for pick-and-carry applications in oil and gas and operations.
Because it does not require stabilizers for most lifts, Genie says, the GTH-1544 offers faster movement, reduced setup time and improved workflow, resulting in more cycles per shift.
“Whether you are unloading and transporting materials to laydown yards, staging materials for installation or supporting jobsite cleanup, the GTH-1544 has the strongest lifting envelope in its class, along with an unrestricted drive envelope that keep loads moving,” said Kyle Holdridge Genie global product director, telehandlers.
The telehandler offers a higher usable capacity at full height and throughout the lifting envelope. It also can make more frequent lifts without the need to stop and reconfigure the machine or set stabilizers, the company says.
Powered byThe cab provides operators with 360 degrees of visibility, while front and rear limited-slip differentials provide traction on rough terrain.
The chassis features proportional frame leveling, allowing operators to pick and place loads on side slopes up to 10 degrees. A multi-functional single joystick delivers smooth load handling, and the redesigned gauge cluster is easier to read.
The GTH-1544 comes with a full fork and carriage portfolio, along with standard lifting shackle for a wide range of material handling tasks. Optional safety features include a back-up camera and Load Moment Indicator.
