ASCC publishes safety management plan

To assist contractors in developing and implementing basic safety management plans, the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) has published a safety management plan. The manual was prepared by the ASCC’s Safety and Risk Management Council and covers the topics of basic policy statements, safety responsibilities, inspections, accident investigation, safety meetings, rules, training, record-keeping, first aid, emergency planning, hazard communication, concrete construction, electrical safety, fall protection, confined spaces, lock out/tag out, scaffolding, trenching and excavating and substance abuse.
