Liebherr has introduced its Generation 6 wheel loaders that have tipping loads of more than 33,000 pounds. The new models – the L566 and the L580 – will replace the L564 and an older version of the L580, and coincide with the implementation of Tier 3 engines. The loaders offer several safety features such as a single-part, laminated front windscreen, large external mirrors, four floodlights on the front and generously sized steps for safe entrance into the cab.
