AEM reps to serve on U.S. trade advisory committees

Darrin Drollinger and Nick Yaksich of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers were recently approved to serve on federal trade advisory committees designed to allow industry input into U.S. trade policy negotiations.

Drollinger is AEM’s vice president for technical and safety services and serves on the industry trade advisory committee on standards and technical trade barriers. Yaksich is AEM’s vice president for global public policy and serves on the industry trade advisory committee on automotive equipment and capital goods.

The committees, which are public-private partnerships, were established by the Trade Act of 1974 and are jointly administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
