New Multiquip website lets customers order parts online

If you’ve been shopping around for parts for a generator, concrete mixer or welder, perhaps you should look online. Multiquip unveiled a new website July 1 where customers can order parts online and receive a 5 percent discount.

The new site, MQ Parts, offers manuals and parts lists for Multiquip and MQ Power products. Instead of calling in or faxing orders, you can order parts online and view product specifications, find troubleshooting information and receive customer support. Safety and service bulletins are also regularly updated on the site.

According to Multiquip, the website was started in an effort to expedite parts orders and improve maintenance procedures. Company officials hope the site will help minimize operator downtime and delays since the orders placed online are immediately processed.

“(The website) gives our customers great parts support and ordering information right when it’s needed,” said Roger Euliss, chief executive of Multiquip.

To access the new site, customers must obtain a username and password and must log on. Once on the MQ Parts main page, users first select a product and model and then choose from several menu options, including parts diagrams, suggested spare parts, bulletins and safety information, maintenance and troubleshooting. Some of the equipment available online includes compaction and power generators, welders, light towers, dewatering pumps, concrete and masonry mixers, masonry pumps and sprayers, concrete placing and finishing products and concrete and masonry saws.

To receive a username and password and access the site, email [email protected] or [email protected]. To find out more about the site, click on the link to the right.
