It’s so nice to hear some good news admist all the bleak reports of job loss and the faltering economy.
Aggregate producer Lafarge is rehiring 50 full-time workers that were liad off from the company’s cement plant in Bath, according to a report in the Ottawa Sun online edition.
The employees, who represent about half the plant’s workforce, were laid off Feb. 6, mainly because of the downturn in the economy, according to the Sun report.
