This teardown of a Porsche Carrera 3.2 is a beautiful look at the complexity of engines

You may have seen a teardown of an engine before, but the look and feel this one of a Porsche Carrera 3.2 accomplishes is something to be appreciated. The video uses stop motion animation in order to focus your attention on each and every part that is removed.

The result is a almost like watching a still image of an engine transforming. And that’s the point. The guys behind the video are doing a series on the transformation of this Carrera 3.2, introduced in 1984 in the Porsche 911, into a hot rod engine. Take a look below.
