The new Ford Performance Parts winch by Warn comes with 12,000 pounds of winching power and will be available as a factory-orderable option or dealer-installed after-sale accessory for both gas and diesel-powered Super Duty Tremor pickups.Announced earlier this year, Ford is now offering an integrated winch on its 2020 F-250 Tremor pickup.
Built in partnership with Warn, the winch sits behind the front bumper and can be controlled with a wireless or wired remote. The install does not interfere with adaptive cruise control.
Seventy feet of synthetic rope is rated to pull up to 12,000 pounds. In the demo below shot by our friends at Hard Working Trucks, Ford vehicle integration engineer Matt Flis explains more while the winch goes to work pulling a Kenworth semi.
