Upside-down F-150 draws plenty of smiles

While some Ford fans will say that the automaker has turned the pickup world upside down, an Illinois body shop owner can make a literal claim on the notion.

Rick Sullivan got the idea for making an upside down F-150 after going to the crash site of a Ford Ranger that was inverted in the snow, according to a report on Barcroft Cars YouTube channel. Six months and six thousand dollars later, Sullivan created a unique ride that continues to generate plenty of smiles, pictures and video. The video below has generated 2.1 million hits so far.

The head-turning vehicle uses the drivetrain from a 1991 Ford Ranger. Hmmm…so if it sort of looks like a truck and drives like a truck…is it still a truck?
