Performance and Versatility
The Farmall 45A, 50A and 55A tractors are equipped with a 1.9L, 3-cylinder electronically controlled engine with a common rail/direct injection system, balancing power and torque with fuel efficiency. The engines feature a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) design that does not require DEF.
Built to handle a variety of attachments, all three models offer a total flow of 16.9 gallons per minute and 9.9 gpm of independent flow for the implement circuit. The 3-point hitch has maximum lift capacity of 1,807 pounds (2,067 pounds at the ball ends), allowing the tractor to handle heavy rear-mounted attachments. Ideal applications for the Compact A Series tractors include grading driveways, mowing overgrowth, moving mulch and gravel, clearing snow, the company says.

The available loaders feature simultaneous lift/curl capabilities and a live third function for smooth, continuous operation. The loader valve and joystick are integrated directly into the loader, so when the loader is removed, the valve and joystick stay with the tractor.
The backhoe also features a new attachment method for simplified installation and removal.
Operator Comfort and Control
Inside the Farmall 45A, 50A and 55A tractors, operators will find a premium cushioned seat, a spacious platform, intuitive joystick control and clear sightlines down the loader arms. A Series models are open ROPS and do not offer an enclosed-cab option.
The tractors have easy access to maintenance points and a 300-hour engine oil service interval.
