Case CE launched the TL170, its third compact utility loader and its largest to date, at this year’s Equip Expo.

Aimed at light construction crews, landscaping and tree care, the stand-on mini track loader is billed as a maneuverable, attachment-friendly machine for tight spaces. It runs on a 43.5-gross-horsepower Kubota diesel engine and delivers a rated operating capacity of up to 1,700 pounds at 35% of tipping load with its wide-track configuration of 51.5 inches. A narrow-track configuration at 46.7 inches is also available.

Standard auxiliary hydraulic flow is 13.2 gallons per minute and 21.1 gpm with a high-flow option. The TL170 offers a choice of a full-size skid steer coupler face or common industry interface.

Dump height is 5 feet 8.4 inches. The TL170 gets 8.7 inches of ground clearance and 4.6 psi of ground-bearing pressure. Available options include a wide rubber track belt, ride control, loader mounted LED lights and up to six additional counterweights.

Speaking at Equip Expo 2026, Case CE Product Manager Ryan Anderson said the TL170 was created in response to customer demand for more power and a higher tipping load, at 2,429 pounds. He highlighted features like the multifunction display, hydraulic pilot joystick controls and heavy-duty undercarriage system.

“We’ve got four rollers on here with two single-flange idlers,” Anderson said. “Great for track clean-out, keeping everything clean in that undercarriage, getting the maximum life out of those tracks."

Ideal applications for the TL170, according to Anderson, include light-duty and commercial construction, hardscape install and large-scale tree care.

Case CE wasn’t the only OEM to launch a new compact utility loader at Equip Expo 2026. This year’s attendees also got to see John Deere’s first-ever CULs, the 10 G-Tier and 12 G-Tier and New Holland’s C324.

Gehl and Manitou also launched their first mini track loaders at the show.

Caterpillar and SDLG also stepped into the burgeoning market this year.
