American Expedition Vehicles takes 2015 Ram 2500HD to new heights; concept truck with 44s a big hit with The Work Truck Show crowd
A lot of work trucks were displayed across the Indiana Convention Center during the annual NTEA/The Work Truck Show.
But none drew as much attention as the off-road work truck on display at the Ram Truck booth. The 2015 Ram 2500HD concept truck built by American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), looked like it was ready to tackle any terrain it faced.
This customized Regular Cab 4Ă—4 work truck displayed a number of prototype AEV components that allows it to be a fully functional work truck any landscaper, oil field worker or road builder would love to own.
Check out the gallery above to see some of the details that make this truck, with it’s aluminum tilt-bed and 44-inch tires a jaw-dropper.
As if that wasn’t enough, the AEV 2015 Ram 2500 features an awesome Aussie-style Ute Ltd tray bed handles cargo, tools and any other work duties.
Underneath AEV installed a 66-gallon diesel fuel tank to allow the torquey 6.7L Cummins turbo-diesel to venture to remote areas without worrying about running on fumes.
Since many enthusiasts seem to love the idea of rowing their own in an exploration style rig, AEV built this Ram with a manual transmission behind the 6.7L Cummins.
