The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) introduced steelTools, a new social networking and file sharing website for designers, engineers and others in the construction industry.
SteelTools allows users to post, download and vote on documents, software and other utilities on the website. Users on the free site can also form networks and participate in blogs and online discussions.
AISC will hold monthly contests for the “steelTool of the Month” and the “powerUser of the Month” for tools and users that contribute positive and reliable information with the network.
