The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has added another course to their assortment of technical education course offerings with the concrete durability course. This advanced-level technical course offering includes two days of instruction with an optional exam on the third day. The course covers the fundamental mechanisms that impact the durability of concrete, symptoms, test methods to evaluate deterioration and development of concrete mixtures. Successful completion of this exam makes candidates eligible for the NRMCA concrete technologist level IV certification. The course will first be offered September 24-26 in Silver Spring, Maryland, at the NRMCA’s headquarters.
