McCloskey to construct new facility in Northern Ireland

McCloskey International has begun constructing a new 100,000 square foot facility in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. McCloskey, a designer and manufacturer of both trommel, and vibrating screeners, stacking conveyors and picking stations, hopes to benefit from the location of their new offices and manufacturing plant nested on a 14-acre site in the Granville Industrial Estate of Dungannon.

“This region is the ancestral home of the world screening industry,” says McCloskey Internationals’ vice President John O’Neill. “Building our facility here gives us access to the most experienced pool of engineering talent, skilled trades and subcontractors that the industry can offer.”

The new McCloskey facility will be home to the company’s engineering team responsible for “high energy” vibrating screeners and mobile crushing plants. The new facility is expected to commence operations by the Fall of 2009.
