The Charles Machine Works, maker of Ditch Witch equipment, has appointed Peiport Scientific of Hong Kong a dealer of its Subsite electronic locating equipment.
Established in 1990, Peiport Scientific specializes in importing and distributing high-tech scientific and technical instruments, most of which are related to electronic imaging. The company has sales and technical support service centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Xian, Lanzhou, and Zhuhai. Sales of Subsite equipment will fall under Peiport’s civil engineering department.
In October, representatives of Peiport attended a week-long training seminar at CMW’s headquarters in Perry, Okla., to learn about the Subsite product line, which is used to locate and identify underground utilities at construction sites.
