Weldcraft, a manufacturer of welding torches and accessories, has relocated its manufacturing, processing and delivery operations from Burbank, Calif., to Appleton, Wis., establishing 50 new jobs in the area.
“Weldcraft’s decision to move to Wisconsin wasn’t easy, but we are confident it was the right one to make,” said Mike Sammons, sales and marketing manager for Weldcraft. “It’s a good opportunity for all of us.”
The state of Wisconsin provided $350,000 worth of grants and loans to be used for employee training and advancement as well as for plant and technology developments.
