The new GCS900 grade control system from Trimble can be used as a common platform on dozers, motor graders, excavators and scrapers to cover everything from mass excavation to final finish grading. This 3D earthmoving system can be moved from machine to machine and lets the contractor select the most suitable technology – GPS, GPS and laser, or advanced total station – to match the task at hand. The GCS900 can be purchased as a stand-alone system or as an upgrade from a conventional Trimble grade control system.
