Link-Belt Construction Equipment has named Melvin Porter chief financial officer/vice president of finance. He will be a member of Link-Belt’s management team with responsibility for functional organizations within finance, accounting, treasury and information technology services. Porter joined Link-Belt in January 1999 as financial planning and tax manager, and also served as secretary of the company’s board of directors for the past three and a half years.
