Bosch Rexroth acquires Korean automation specialist

Bosch Rexroth AG is acquiring Skatec Co., an automation specialist based in Ansan, South Korea. Skatec focuses on fitting industrial plants and machinery with drive and control technology, and will be integrated into Bosch Rexroth Korea on June 1. The acquisition is part of the company’s Asian expansion strategy, said Manfred Grundke, executive vice president for sales automation at Bosch Rexroth AG.
