American Augers makes promotions

American Augers has made several promotions and appointments at its West Salem, Ohio, facility. Guy Randall, formerly director of engineering, was promoted to general manager. Bill Riel, vice president of research and development, is taking on additional responsibilities in engineering project management as well as being technical advisor to the engineering and sales teams. Dave Vidovic was promoted from engineering product manager to director of engineering to lead the company in product development of directional drills, auger boring machines, mud systems and rock cutting technology. Engineers Chris Shepherd and Chris Huck have been added to the engineering design leadership program with the Maxi-Rig and auger boring product lines. Ron Peacock serves as technical advisor on the company’s new parts excellence program. Steve Winland now heads up the parts excellence program as well as international sales inside service. Dave Kauffman was promoted to manufacturing manager.
