Bandit expanding Michigan facilities

The completion of a $1.3 million expansion project at Bandit Industries in Remus, Mich. is expected to welcome 40 to 60 new jobs in the area and heighten the company’s technology level.

Bandit, which supplies forestry and recycling equipment, will open the new facility in February. The building will house heavy-duty handling equipment to facilitate the construction of the 90,000-pound Model 5680 and 70,000-pound Model 4680 Beast Recyclers.

“We are very excited about the expansion, which brings our manufacturing space to a total of 212,375 square feet, as well as the opportunity to employ additional members of the community,” said Jerry Morey, marketing manager for Bandit.

Along with its expansion, Bandit will also celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2003.
