Sauer Danfoss uses operator input to create new joystick
Lauren Heartsill Dowdle | March 23, 2011

Sauer Danfoss “took the joystick one step further” with their JS 7000 joystick, which they introduced at ConExpo-Con/Agg. They talked with operators and video taped them to see how they used joysticks.

The joystick accommodates the natural inclinations of the operator’s hand and is designed for heavy-duty construction equipment, such as skid steers, wheel loaders and excavators.

“Operators might not know why they like our joystick better, but they know they do,” the company says.
