Oregon Department (ODOT) of Transportation crews were recently called out on an “all hands” assignment to patch potholes on a stretch of U.S. 97 near Chemult.
ODOT District Manager Pat Creedican pulled in crews from four districts to help with the work that patched 17 miles of the highway. The agency reports that winter weather in the area has caused the damage, which has led to motorists “weaving down the highway” to avoid potholes.
