Photo courtesy WSDOT.On November 8, maintenance crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) discovered a large hole in the deck on the eastbound outside lane of Vantage Bridge while deployed to do repairs to damaged barriers on the bridge, KXLY reports.
WSDOT told the news agency that the hole “required immediate attention,” so the maintenance crew shifted gears to fix the hole on Monday, and then returned on Tuesday to repair the damaged barriers.
