The Volvo Construction Equipment Road Institute has openings this spring for its three-day courses on paver and compactor operation and maintenance.
Featuring Topcon products, Session No. 112 runs March 26-29. Session 113 runs April 9-11. Both of these courses are at at the Road Institute West location in Phoenix, Arizona.
Another class on paver and compactor operation and maintenance, Session No. 115, featuring Blaw-Kontrol, will be held May 7-10 in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
The three to five day courses run about $1.000.00
On its website, the Road Institute says: “We provide the paving contractor, operator, agency and industry personnel with the ‘important link’ between equipment technology and industry applications. Our courses/seminars are designed to improve an operator’s skills with both theory (classroom) and hands-on operation of Volvo Road Machinery equipment.”
Topics covered include asphalt paving training, compactor training and paver training.
