The Iowa Department of Transportation has begun to use AssetWorks integrated enterprise asset management software and fleet management solutions.
According to a press release, IDOT will be using the new AssetWorks software to manage its fleet facilities and warehouse inventory operations.
IDOT decided to use AssetWorks EAM software after an evaluation process of several solutions to replace its old management systems.
The new software will manage 35,000 general assets, 13,000 fleet components, 3,000 fleet units. 1,320 inventory users, 222 local jurisdiction users, 1,004 equipment management users and 66 facility management users.
