“We wanted to be able to share the most up-to-date information with the public,” CDOT director of communications Amy Ford said, according to the Reporter-Herald. “I think everyone has been sitting in traffic on I-70 and wondering what is going on up there. So you, as a driver, can make informed decisions about what you want to do with your trip.”

The radio station will be on air on Saturdays and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. to coincide with peak traveling hours. You can listen to the station through CoTrip.org or the CDOT mobile application.
