Yokohama’s RY617 steer tires, 703ZL drive tires and RY587MC2 trailer tires meet the EPA SmartWay program’s specifications regarding low rolling resistance, which allows the tires to run cooler and increase fuel economy. The tires may now be used on trucks that are SmartWay-certified. SmartWay transportation programs identify products and services that reduce transportation-related emissions.
