Atlas Copco’s hydraulic compactor attachment units – designed to attach to carriers with a service weight of 1 to 40 tons – are now available with standard PermanentLube lubrication systems and optional rotation devices. Work no longer has to be interrupted for manual lubrication, turning the compactor into a virtually maintenance-free attachment. The optional 360-degree endless rotation device allows the compactor to be positioned with greater ease in all applications. The rotation device fits all compactors from HC 308 onward as an optional feature and also as a retrofitting kit.
Quickly separate rocks, roots or debris from excavation material
Leading Edge Attachments’ SpeedScreen bucket separates rocks during a normal excavator digging operation by screening the material with a non-hydraulic moving screen. When the excavator scoops the material, screened material goes into the bucket and rocks get forced up the ramped screen so that afterwards, the rocks lie on top of the screen and screened material lies in the bucket. Partially dumping the bucket causes the rocks to roll off the screen first, into a pile, truck or the side of a trench, and when the bucket gets dumped further the screened material comes out, completely separate. The bucket attachment requires no hydraulic components, seals or hoses.
Service body joins form and function
Stahl’s Grand Challenger original service body combines the function of a service body with the style of a truck chassis. Curved body sides – constructed of rust-resistant galvanneal steel – complement the chassis styling and stand up to the rigors of the jobsite. Contoured polymer end panels feature automotive-type taillights that also complement the chassis.
Layout manager creates a digital replica of building blueprint
Trimble’s LM80 Layout Manager incorporates a controller and office software for real-time, two-way data transfer between the in-office project design team and the general contractor at the jobsite. The LM80 connects to both mechanical and robotic total stations for accurate, fast and simple building layout. Designed for use on the building construction jobsite, the rugged data controller includes wireless communications, Bluetooth connection capabilities, a highly visible screen and a fast processor. Design engineers can make changes immediately available to the contractor and the contractor can transfer as-builts in real-time to communicate progress reports and problems.
Bumper provides mirror finish in dent- and corrosion-resistant material
Easily installed to factory mounts, Hendrickson Bumper and Trim’s three-piece Aero Bright bumper fits Mack CH, CHN and CHU trucks. The configuration combines steel chromed center sections with Hendrickson Aero Bright end caps for style, durability and reduced weight. Matching the luster of the chrome center section, the lightweight end caps use thermoplastic poly olefin plastic and weather resistant paint films with thick-sheet thermoforming technology.
