The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission is now tweeting its traffic updates.
The commission began giving updates via Twitter, known as Tweets, on June 24, in time for two of what the commission calls the busiest international holidays of the summer–Canada Day and Independence Day.
The Twitter updates program was started as a way to inform travelers which bridge has the shortest crossing times.
