Minnesota looks to axe prevailing wage for construction

In order to save jobs and preserve the state budget, legislators in Minnesota are toying with the idea of getting rid of the prevailing wage laws for construction workers in that state. Prevailing wage laws force even non-union contractors working on government jobs to pay union-level wages to their workers.
