Lightweight ultraSHORE trench shields by Trench Shoring Services are manufactured from specially corrugated aluminum to reduce weight. Panels are stackable and can be used horizontally or vertically. The shields are safe for depths up to 12 feet in class C soils, and one or both ends can be closed off with quick-release, spring-loaded end closure panels. One person can lower a single pair of assembled panels into an excavation, and the panels can be transported in a pickup truck.
