Genie Industries has launched an online parts website as part of an aftermarket service support plan. The website has a “Serial Number Smart” parts lookup system that gives customers parts listings while eliminating the need to download .pdf files.
The system can look up Genie products including booms, lifts and many telehandlers. Additional telehandlers, Terex power buggies, light towers, generators and the Terex HFT 70RS rental trailer will be added to the system during the second quarter of 2008. Other upgrades will include multiple languages and online ordering capabilities, which are expected to be online later in the year. Genie has also joined the SmartEquip Network to provide aftermarket support solutions to rental customers who use SmartEquip’s fleet support system.
