The MTU Group held a ceremony on June 26 to celebrate the opening of a new facility in Suzhou, China, where assembly of its MTU Series 2000 diesel engines will take place. Local assembly of engines in Suzhou includes the V12-, V16- and V18-cylinder versions of MTU’s Series 2000 engines.
The MTU Group is a supplier of diesel engines and complete drive systems for ships, heavy land and rail vehicles and decentralized power generation.
