Case Rodeo Series hosts events across the country

As part of its Rodeo Series, Case expects to hold more than 80 loader/backhoe competitions at its dealerships prior to the end of 2007, celebrating 50 years of manufacturing tractor loader/backhoes. Almost 5,000 participants from the United States and Canada will compete for a chance to attend the Case Rodeo Series North American Championship event, which will take place during ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, Nevada, in March 2008. The winner will receive a new Case loader/backhoe.

Each rodeo will serve as a fundraiser for a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, according to Case. So far, the company has raised $75,000 for Habitat for Humanity with the first 30 dealer events and Case employees also assembled teams to help build homes in various areas.

Approximately 40 events have been held since January, and Case hopes to hold at least 40 more rodeos by years’ end. Winners of the local events will be invited to Las Vegas to compete against each other for the fastest time, which is currently 164 seconds for three skills events. The top five will advance to compete for the title of North American champion, and the winner will be awarded a fully loaded M Series 2 loader/backhoe. Finalists will receive credit cards for $1,000 to $5,000 to be used at their local Case dealerships.
