M-B-W’s slipform paver can produce curb, curb and gutter and valley ribbon on either soil or pavement. It can use a sensor/stringline setup or manual controls and runs on flat grades or inclines.
The paver is one-wheel drive in the vertical curb-over-pavement mode (C100), two-wheel drive in the vertical curb-over-soil mode (C101) and three-wheel drive in the curb-and-gutter mode (CG200). The machine’s drive systems are all hydraulic. The paver’s quick-attach hopper system lets you switch pouring modes from offset (curb only) to between centers (curb and gutter, valley ribbon, etc.)
