New designs build on proven breaker technology

BTI’s recently introduced TB-XC series of boxed-housing breakers offer a number of design refinements while still having only two moving parts and no accumulators for rugged durability. The design changes include a narrower front head for working in confined spaces, 10 percent less weight and a suspended boxed-housing design to reduce noise and vibration to the carrier. Compressed polyurethane isolators suspend the breaker body and absorb and protect against recoil shock and tie-rod strain. The TB-XC series breakers are available in capacities from 2,000 foot-pounds up to 13,500 foot-pounds.
